Welcome and Opening 
The chairman (AP) open the meeting and welcomed all present.  A special word of welcome was extended to members of the unions UTATU and SATAWU –

Andries Pretorius - NOM (AP), S Govender (National Business Manager) (SG) and Cwayita Sihele (CS) (National Lean Manager), Collin Moopanar National Engineering Manager (CM), Linda Mcoyana LBM BFN (LM), Mark Egambaram National Procurement Manager (ME), Mzi Hote LBM DBN (MH), Sitsabo Kuhlase LBM KDS (SK), Ducan Speelman SATAWU (DS), Anthony Hees UTATU (AH), Jan Coetzee National Logistics Manager (JC), Given Sibambo National Systems Manager (GS), Albert van der Westhuizen LBM SRX (AvW)

A FINANCIAL BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE – Also refer to Financial Performance Report – Quarter 1 
1 Performance against business plan – Quarter 1 
The chairman gave a short overview in light of reduction of allocations:
Refer to the financial Report – Q1
Initiatives are as follows:
• To forward Road Show Presentation to the TLC’s. (SG)
• Present Capacity Calc and Planning for all 4 plants to national business committee
   on Wednesday, 7 Oct 09 @ 8H00 (LBM's)  
• Redeployment Plan to be discussed after the Capacity Planning Sign Off (All)
• To start weekly NBC Meetings on every Fridays, including LWC’s and HC (All)
• To communicate with corporate that positions that are still to be advertised must be
   put on hold until Capacity Planning Redeployment Planning has been done. (SG) 
• This plan must be kept confidential. (All)
