Please be advised that members falling under the scope of the FST Agreement i.e. First Line

Managers Specialists and Technicians are deemed to be employees resorting under the scope of

the Transnet Bargaining Council as “Bargaining Unit Employees.

Clause 7.1 of the Agreement is quoted below:-

Annexure “B”: All FST’s are still and will remain part of the Transnet Bargaining Council and

therefore have the same “Right” to participate in Industrial Action (Strike Action) as all other

Categories of Employees deemed to fall under the Scope of the Transnet Bargaining Council.

UTATU will thus appreciate their support in the strike as they also form part of the Current Wage

Negotiation.

It is our request that their members should not let themselves be intimidated by “Management”.

We trust that this clarifies all the confusion for the members.
