We have engaged with PRASA Management Team yesterday (06/05/2010) in the conciliation phase of the wage dispute under the auspices of the CCMA (Gauteng).

 Unfortunately we could not make any progress in the conciliation and hence the dispute remains unresolved.  Attached for your information is a copy of the certificate of outcome.  In reality, this means that Labour can now give notice to the company to embark on a legal protected strike.

 Please indicate your support by completing the attached mandate form and return same to this office not later than 12^th May, 2010, at 12H00.

Also please note that a news conference will be held at 12H00 on 7^th May, 2010 to clarify the dispute to the news media.

Please note that no strike action commence before we have issued a notice to strike to Prasa Management.
