TRANSNET

An invitation was received from Transnet to continue tonight at the CCMA, with two Senior Commissioners, as from 18H00 in a last attempt to resolve the dispute. Currently as at above time of 22h45 discussions are at a sensitive state for both Parties. Once an acceptable   agreement has been tabled you will be informed accordingly.

PRASA RAIL

A 10 % Across The Board  Increase (genuine one this time) is captured in a draft agreement, which we believe will be accepted by our members if the reference in  the draft to specific service conditions that must be negotiated “away” ,within a specific period, could be removed from the Draft Agreement.

UTATU remains hopeful that we could end both strikes before the end of the week.
