The Parties being PRASA/UTATU and SATAWU met in terms of the Labour Relations Act LRA, clause 150 at the offices of the CCMA at Johannesburg for final acceptation of the wage draft agreement that was concluded the previous night. Senior Commissioner Meshack Ravuku, was the commissioner who facilitated the process. Attached herewith please find the signed wage agreement for your attention.
To be noted that SATAWU did not sign the agreement but were given time by Management until Sunday 23 May 2010 to either accept or reject the offer. We want to take this opportunity to thank all UTATU members for their support during these very difficult negotiations. Please note that the strike ends at midnight or as soon as possible thereafter.
